The Canadian Dilemma

The problems of the world are as close as your computer screen,
Poverty, hunger, sickness, the plague and everything in between,
But don’t worry your politicians wants to find a cure,
They are so good at traveling the world to locate the poor.


They’re talking about giving all the refugees sanctuary,
Though this decision may be extremely arbitrary,
They got help from activists who brought about these decisions,
There is no political recall so no system revisions.


As a Canadian you have nothing to say about this,
You are forbidden binding referendums, unlike the Swiss,
Your politicians are traveling off on a refugees crusade,
You seldom vote, have no input and even finance the gay parade.
