Canadian Euthanasia and abortions

No euthanasia for old adults but abortion for babies,
Some Supreme Court decision to help certain pregnant ladies,
The half who vote are led by a bureaucrat aristocrat,
In an office in Ottawa behaving like an autocrat.


Those who made abortions legal could make them illegal too,
Supreme Court appointees could turn true to you but who knew?
Is it possible that the people could bring these changes about?
Or do we have to live out our long or short lives in complete doubt?


Governments may eventually change at an election,
But how to change the party system and their selections?
To get binding referendums and political recall imposed,
Is the media in their pockets and nothing will be disclosed?
