No Ontario cell phone law yet
By
James Bredin
Our politicians talk all day and half the night on their cell phones,
At taxpayers’ expense of course amid our overtaxed groans,
And half the drivers in heavy traffic are now using cell phones,
In order to buy them, some of them had to take out loans.
You must see them as you drive here and there and everywhere,
You don’t know how many accidents are caused by their affair,
But some of them drive slowly in order to talk and concentrate,
Some seem to be waving their hands in order to articulate.
It means one hand on the steering wheel and the other on the phone,
Half the people talking to the other half as far as is known,
Some day in the distant future, they might change the cell phone law,
No referendums, no recall and we can’t see a flaw.
